Negru Imparat, which translates to the "Black King", is a wonderful cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Merlot (50%), which is full of controversy in its own way – expressive, complex, with distinct aromas of red fruits, dried plums, cocoa and vanilla and yet it would be a shame to drink it now because it is still young and has a lot of ripening potential. Despite its youthfulness, the Negru Imparat (the Black King) develops quite well in the glass, so we recommend letting the wine breathe in the glass or carafe for 20 to 25 minutes.
