Frumushika-Nova Suholimanske 2021 White

Winemaker’s notes:

Grapes were picked by hand and chilled down to 15C. Delicate pressing, fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at a low temperature for 14 days. Ageing took place in stainless steel vats for 12 months. Only 3000 bottles of this wine were made.

Characteristics:
The wine has light golden colour with aromas of steppe flowers, pear and yellow apple. The taste is harmonious with fresh acidity and Meyer Lemon notes.

Suholimanske:
The grape variety Suholimanske is a cross between Chardonnay and Plavai. It is one of the most popular grape varieties in Bessarabia region. The berry is fleshy and large, resist frost down to minus 20C. In Frumushika-Nova winery around 4000 plants are growing, covering in total 0,76ha.

Food pairing:
Pairs well with white fish, Chicken Kyiv or as an aperitif. Serving temperature: 11-12°C/51-53F.
